A Pilgrimage

When I started this blog a few days ago I felt really helpless.  I asked my self over and over again ..... What can I do ? Where do I start ?

But after deciding to write about my dilemma's  it's becoming clear in my mind.

Maybe I want to do a Pilgrimage. Not to Santiago de Compostela but to Rome.

This can be a good start to fulfill my dreams. I will have to leave my children behind but only for 4 months or so - and they can visit me in the weekends or holidays while I am walking.

So I decided to look for information on the Net about this subject.

There is the Via Francigena  - You can walk from Canterbury to Rome.  I guess this is it. This is where I am going to start.

I will have to set up a scheme to practice walking.

I am glad that I found a way out - at least to have a reachable goal.  It's a small step but a good one.
